The new update includes bug fixes and many new features, including a brand new feature and three new wishes. The update will be released on September 7, 2021, roughly two weeks after patch 1.46 was released in late August 2021.
Three new aspirations and one new feature
The road to health is long, but worth it! Sims can now choose from three ambitious paths to reach their zen:
- Self Care Expert - For Sims who want to capitalize on their love of fitness and health.
- Inner Peace - For Sims who desire ultimate harmony and learning tools to alleviate negative emotions.
- Zen Guru - For Sims who want to share the power of happiness with the world... the whole world. They also focus on educating their followers to pass on the knowledge.
In addition to these new wishes, we've also added a new feature for Sims who need a little extra work to fulfill their wishes - tuned accordingly. High maintenance allows your Sims to perform thoughtful tasks that increase their happiness. No problem is too small, no need too great.
These new wishes and traits can be found in Create a Sim. And don't forget the spa membership that includes these indulgences - what a deal!
Mani Pedi
Some people like a massage to relax - a good option... I'm sure I need one - but my favorite thing is manicures and pedicures! Let me finish It's so tiring to pick a design, color and shape and have someone do the nails with utmost care (yes, that's it...for me). Now your Sims can earn these nail decorations or gift them to other Sims. You choose the design, shape and voila! Your Sims nails will look as good as they feel!
If you don't want to get your nails done professionally on a budget, then by all means - Sims can use the same options in Create A Sim, and you can apply those options to your Sims' nails instantly - just like Insta- nails! ! You can choose from a variety of patterns with color combinations and designs or choose a solid color for each nail. You can also choose from a variety of solid colors for your toenails. You can find them in Create A Sim's Accessories category, where you'll see sorting options for fingernails and toenails.
We'd like to highlight that in this Spa Day upgrade we have a theme from the wonderful Ebonix in Create a Sim! Ebonix is an extremely talented Sims creator and we're excited to feature and share one of her designs with you.
About yoga and meditation
Yoga classes can now be held outside of spas and gyms! You can hire a yoga instructor or teach your own classes using the Instructor Yoga Mat. Speaking of teachings, Sims can also do guided meditation sessions in the meditation chair. Oh, and don't forget to mention that kids can also practice and teach yoga and meditation!
New items, masks... oh my!
As part of this update, we've also added some new items and features to crafting mode, including a new luxury massage table and massage chair, which can also be used for manicures and pedicures for a completely relaxing experience. As an added bonus, there's a new portable massage chair and table so your Sims can earn Simoleons by getting massages, manicures, and pedicures on the go.
We've also added the ability to purchase and apply face masks as part of your Sims' daily self-care routine. They come in a variety of benefits and plans. for easy access, we recommend landing on your favoriteDoc Sweets Tepid Mini Water Dispenser.This miniature version of the original fridge stores your favorite beverages in one compact space, but as an added bonus, Sims can buy face masks there. By the way, be sure to try the new Cucumber Power Sip and Cucumber Slices for a tasty snack! This update is also available.
Base game update
For those of you who don't have a spa day, we wanted to do something nice too. For the base game simulation, we added manicure options for fingernails and toenails in Create a Sim for you to enjoy. As mentioned, in Create a Sim you can choose between fingernails and toenails.

- Fixed an issue where some controls were slightly incorrect when the player was in The Sims 4 Game Options menu. It should work fine now.

- New games will no longer have to deal with automatically generated idle times and the resulting increase in memory size and performance lags. The team is still working on how to safely fix this issue in existing saves.
- Fixed an issue affecting chairs with custom content causing Sims to have routing issues when equipped with certain items.
- Sometimes in certain saves, Sims lose their name when visiting certain lots - the most notorious being the Gothic lot, but it can happen anywhere. If a Sim doesn't have a name... does that Sim exist? I can assure you that the goths are not involved, but the problem must not be repeated.
- Ever needed to order food or drink but just don't have time? However, the issue of Sims and NPCs not being able to order food and drinks independently has been fixed. to order something!
- Have you noticed that your Sims don't like those gym or dance related things? It's not weird; Of course, as long as they continue to dislike her, this must not happen again.
