- Refreshing the visual container - This updates the visible container and cached report images in a report when data changes.
Why are you interested in Power Bi? What makes you think Power Bi would be a great career choice?
Power BI is a cloud-based data visualization and reporting tool that allows users to create reports online. Once reports are created, users can share them with their colleagues. This aspect of Power BI makes it very popular with business users. And that's why Power BI is an interesting and promising career option.
Name the different connectivity modes available on the Power Bi
There are three main modes of connectivity used in Power BI.
Import aus SQL-Server
EsqlServer import is the default and most commonly used connectivity type in Power BI. This allows you to use all the features of Power BI Desktop.
direct advice
The Direct Query connection type is only available when connecting to specific data sources. With this type of connectivity, Power BI only stores the metadata of the underlying data and not the actual data.
live connection
With this type of connectivity, you don't store any data in the Power BI model. Any interaction with a report over a live connection directly queries the existing Analysis Services model. There are only three data sources that support the live connection method: SQL Server Analysis Services, Azure Analysis Services, and Power BI datasets hosted by the Power BI service.

Have you ever updated cloud data reports? Can you explain how?
Cloud technology often presents unique programming and development challenges such as: B. Security and Data Management. Both of these potential challenges are important for professionals such as business analysts who need to be able to deal with large amounts of data. Name a time in the past when you completed this task and briefly explain your steps. If you haven't already updated your data reports, use your understanding of Power BI and the cloud to explain how you can do so.
Example: "At my last job, I was working on a project that required updating data after it was uploaded. Back then, I was using Power BI Personal Gateway to access and update content. Data Management Gateway has the same function.”

37. Explain where we can store data in Power BI.
Answer: We can store the data in the tables, that is, facts and dimensions.
- Fact tables:This table is central to the star schema of a data warehouse, it helps us store the information to be analyzed which is quantitative.
- Measurement tables:It acts as another table for a data warehouse's star schema. We can store attributes that describe the objects stored in the fact table.
38. Share your knowledge about different views on Power BI Desktop.
Answer: We have three main views on the Power Bi desktop, each with multiple purposes.
- Report view:With this type of view we can add visualizations and reports to publish them accurately on the portal.
- Data display:With the help of this view, we can shape our data using the query editor tools.
- Relationship view:This view allows users to manage relationships between records.
39. Please describe the available Power BI formats.
Answer: Below are the different formats available in Power BI.
- PowerBi table:This format is useful for desktop computers.
- Bi-Power-Service:It's kind of Software as a Service.
- Bi-Mobile Power Applications:It is used for Android and IOS devices.
All of the above are used together and we need to create a report on our desktop. We can then publish and share these reports online for inspection.

Here are the differences between Power BI and Tableau:
Power BI only focuses on modeling and reporting while Tableau is the best tool based on data visualization. Power BI is cheaper while Tableau is very expensive. Power BI is tied to Microsoft Azure while Tableau uses Python machine learning. Power BI has a simple and easy-to-use interface while Tableau has a custom dashboard. Power BI is slow when handling large amounts of data, while Tableau handles any amount of data with ease.

How to visualize a Power Bi project
There are two ways to create a visualization in Power BI. First add items to the report area in the right pane. Another way is to drag fields from the right sidebar onto the value axis in the view. By default, Power BI selects the table type view. You can add as many fields as you want for each axis. You can also click and drag your visualization to rearrange it on the report canvas. You can easily switch between multiple charts and visualizations in the visualization window. Your specified fields will be converted to the new visual format as accurately as possible.
Now let's understand how data visualization can be done in Power BI.
The first thing you need is data. Power BI can connect multiple data sources: Excel, Web, etc. The options from which data can be imported into Power BI desktop are visible when you click the Get Data icon. You can preview the data in the Fields panel after uploading.
After loading thesample dataOn Power BI Desktop, you can change it using the query editor. Regardless of the data source, query editors are useful for editing records. In the query editor you can make changes, e.g. B. renaming a dataset, removing one or more columns and much more.
You can change the colors of charts in BI dashboards. There is a color picker option when you select any view.

What is a workspace in Power Bi?
Workspace in Power BI is an environment for uploading content such as reports, dashboards, apps, data sets, etc. to share with a group of people, colleagues, and admins. In a workspace, you can add multiple reports, dashboards, datasets, and so on. and add people to view, edit or change them through provided access. It's like a folder where you keep/save your reports to later share them with the group of people who are interested in organizing.
To create a workspace in Power BI, you must sign in to your Power BI account with the service.
Follow the link below to log into the service and click Workspaces.
You can also add a report to your workspace. First you need to publish it to Power Bi Desktop by using the Publish button on the Home tab with credentials.

If you click on workspaces and then on your specific saved workspace, you will see your saved reports, dashboards, etc. there, which you can share with others and also export.
Question based on a Power Bi scenario
Real-time PowerBI scenarios
road map:
We are currently using Power BI Desktop. In the next 5-6 months we plan to have Azure Analysis Services.
We have Oracle servers in our company.
We need to create a data model in Power BI Desktop so once we have the AAS we can reuse any development we do.
We have a large amount of data in many tables.
Questions:
1. Should we use import method or direct query method for our development if we have all tables on Oracle Server? ?
2. What do we need to do to share our report with users within our organization? If we use the import method, the protected data will be uploaded to the cloud, which we currently don't want as we don't have a license yet.
If we use the direct query method, we need to create a personal gateway to connect to the database and be able to view the data in the reports.
3. There are some limitations for the direct query method, e.g. Combining two columns is not supported in Direct Query. If you have many limitations with the direct query approach, is it worth developing with this approach? ?
4. Is it safe to publish the data model for the service and have a local personal gateway to connect to the database? Because I'm putting my database's tns entry in the services.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
